Life is meant to be lived! (Posted by Priya Deelchand)

My dearest friends,

Hope you are all doing awesome!:))

Here is a wonderful story by Steve Goodier that I would like to share with you today!

Life is to be lived. No excuses. No reservations. No holding back.

An enchanting story about violinist Fritz Kreisler tells how he once
came across a beautiful instrument he wanted to acquire. When he
finally raised the money for the violin, he returned to buy it and
learned that it had already been sold to a collector.

He went to the new owner's home in order to try to persuade him to
sell the violin. But the collector said it was one of his prized
possessions and he could not let it go. The disappointed Kreisler
turned to leave, but then asked a favor. "May I play the instrument
once more before it is consigned to silence?"

Permission was granted and the great musician began to play. The
violin sang out a quality of music so beautiful that the collector
himself could only listen in wonderment. "I have no right to keep that
to myself," he said after the musician finished. "The violin is yours,
Mr. Kreisler. Take it into world, and let people hear it."

William Arthur Ward said, "If you believe in prayer, pray; if you
believe in serving, serve; if you believe in giving, give." For you
and I are exquisite violins -- our music is meant to be heard.

I want to live my life that way -- to take it into the world and live
it fully. I'd rather burn out than rust out. I'd rather be used up
than die not having done whatever I could...wherever I would.

I'm not talking about wearing ourselves out on over-activity.
Happiness is never found in excessive busyness. But it is found in
investing our lives in others. Saying YES when asked for a hand.
Volunteering some time for a worthwhile organization. Spending an hour
with a lonely relative.

In the end, I know that my happiness will not have been
about by my ability or my inability. It will have been about my
availability. My life is meant to be lived.

Wish you all an excellent weekend!

Much Love,
Priya :))

Joy in the morning (Posted by Priya Deelchand)

My dearest friends,

Hope you are all doing awesome! :))

Here is a story by Steve Goodier that I would like to share with you today.

Does this sound familiar?

James was cleaning out the attic one day when he came across a ticket
from a shoe repair shop. The date stamped on the ticket showed it was
over eleven years old. He felt sure the shoes would not still be
there, but decided to stop by anyway and check.

He handed the ticket to the man behind the counter, who didn't seem to
be surprised at the date. "Just a minute," said the clerk. " I'll have
to look for these." He disappeared into a back room.

After a few minutes, the clerk called out, "Here they are!"

"That's terrific!" said James, hardly believing his good fortune.

The man came back to the counter, empty-handed. "They'll be ready
Thursday," he said.

We should all be masters of patience; after all, we've had plenty of
practice. But waiting for shoes is one thing, waiting to heal from a
hurt or waiting for a persistent problem to change can be far more
difficult.

James Melvin Washington shared some wisdom about the importance of
patience in those tough times of life. He said, "My grandmother used
to tell me that every loss is temporary, that every rainy day is
temporary, that every hardship is temporary. She used to tell me,
'Son, every goodbye ain't gone. Just hold on - there's joy coming in
the morning.'"

Are you holding on? It may seem dark now, but morning is coming.

Wish you all a joy filled life!

Much Love,
Priya:))

Achieving Success With Positive Affirmations by Priya Deelchand

Achieving Success With Positive Affirmations

By Priya Deelchand

Affirmations are statements that you think or say to yourself or others and they are based on your beliefs. These affirmations can be either positive or negative and have the ability to greatly influence your life and create your reality. As Brian Tracy said "You become what you think about most of the time." In fact, affirmation is something that you are doing all the time. Every thought you think and every word you say is an affirmation. All of your inner dialogues are affirmations. You are continually affirming subconsciously with your words and thoughts and this flow of affirmations is creating your life experience in every moment.

You can achieve the success you desire by programming your mind with positive affirmations. In fact, most of the successful people in the world are not much different from you. The main difference between a successful person and an unsuccessful one is that most successful people have a success mindset. Their inner dialogue is one of success and accomplishment and they always focus on the positive rather than on the negative.

Positive affirmations will be very useful to help you achieve the success you desire and through the regular use of this powerful technique, you will begin to see wonderful changes in your life you never imagined possible. With positive affirmations, you can overcome your limiting beliefs and negative thoughts and make success a reality for you. Ralph Marston once said, "There is a thought in your mind right now. The longer you hold on to it, the more you dwell upon it, the more life you give to that thought. Give it enough life, and it will become real. So make sure the thought is indeed a great one."

In order to achieve success, it is very important for you to develop a conscious and focused affirmation process. You must become aware of exactly what you are affirming through your thoughts and consciously and purposefully focus those affirmations on positive and empowering statements. These positive affirmations will reprogram your subconscious mind and allow you to become more and more successful. By developing the habit of using positive affirmations regularly and consistently your subconscious will adapt to the new information it is being provided with. For your affirmations to be effective, it is important that you create your own affirmations based on your specific conditions and circumstances. It is very important to remember that your affirmations are only going to be efficient if you can feel what you are affirming. It is the emotions that your affirmations create that will attract the success that you desire to you. The most effective positive affirmations are phrases that are in alignment with you, empower you and allow you to feel a shift in your emotions as you repeat them.

In order to become more successful, you can repeat the following affirmations or you can create your own affirmations.

1. I deserve to be prosperous and successful.
2. I enjoy success.
3. I am very successful now.
4. I am happy, successful, and fulfilled.
5. Success and achievement are natural outcomes for me.
6. I attract success and prosperity with all of my ideas.
7. Success comes very easily and effortlessly to me.
8. Today I am committed to my goals and my success is assured.
9. Everything I do turns into success.
10. My success is contagious, other people like it, seek it and respect it.
11. All of my thoughts and ideas lead me straight to success.
12. Prosperity and success are my natural state of mind.
13. I am a success magnet.
14. I am the example of success and triumph.
15. I am committed to achieve success.

You can all become as successful as you want by using positive affirmations regularly and consistently. Remember that success is a state of mind and if you want success, start thinking of yourself as a success. Henry David Thoreau was right when he said "As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives."
